Au Revoir Cowl {free knitting pattern}

Au revoir, Paris! You'll look lovely as you're saying goodbye in your new cowl. The Au Revoir Cowl is a free knitting pattern featuring a basic basketweave design. Knit with Wooly Worsted merino wool yarn, the Au Revoir Cowl is soft, warm and elegant.

Ewe Ewe Yarns Pattern #113
Designed by Heather Walpole
Measurements: 20" circumference; 8" high 
Yarn: Wooly Worsted Washable, Wooly Worsted Washable, 95 yards
  2 skeins (Color 70 Aquamarine)

Needles: US 10 (6.0 mm) 16" circular knitting needles
Supplies: stitch marker, yarn needle
Gauge: 16 sts to 4" in stockinette stitch

Au Revoir Cowl knitting pattern:

Loosely cast on 80 sts. Place marker and join in round being careful not to twist cast on stitches.

Rounds 1-5: *K5, P5* repeat from *to* around.

Rounds 6-10: *P5, K5* repeat from *to* around.

Repeat Rounds 1-10 until the cowl measures 8" from the beginning or to desired length.

Bind off loosely and weave in yarn ends.
