Super Sport-Weight Shawls

Here at Ewe Ewe our Ewe So Sporty yarn is used for a huge variety of projects but some of the best are the shawls. When knit slightly above gauge this sport-weight merino yarn provides a gorgeous drape. Take a look at some of our wraps using this merino yarn.

Double Deco

The Double Deco shawl was designed by Leah Coccari-Swift and I love its strong lines and opposing colors. This generous shawl uses four balls of Ewe So Sporty for the main colors and just one ball of each of the contrasting colors. There's so many amazing color opportunities!

Night at the Museum

This dramatic shawl is simpler than it looks. Knit with only garter stitch, the Night at the Museum shawl features an increasing lace panel paired with a solid knit half. After blocking this wrap grows to hug your shoulders and is perfect to be worn over a dress or cozy enough to snuggle in your coat.

Mint Julep

A true beginner basic, the Mint Julep shawl increases incrementally and grows into a beautiful wrap. This is a great project for the carpool lane since it is just knit, knit, knit. The simple addition of a new color gives a bit of added flare to this fabulous knit and I have to say that it's become one of my favorite scarves to wear!
