Measurements: 10" circumference
Yarn: Ewe Ewe Yarns Wooly Worsted Washable, 95 yards,
Color A: 1 skein (Color 90 Vanilla)
Color B: 1 skein (Color 10 Berry)
Needles: US 7 double-pointed needles
Supplies: Stitch marker, yarn needle
Gauge: 20 sts to 4" in stockinette stitch
Hat knitting pattern:
Using Color A, cast on 50 stitches. Place marker and join in the round, being careful not to twist cast on sts.
Round 1: Knit all sts.
Repeat Round 1 until hat measures 4" from cast on edge.
Round 2: *Knit 3 sts, K2tog.* Repeat from *to* around.
Round 3: *Knit 2 sts, K2tog.* Repeat from *to* around.
Round 4: *Knit 1 st, K2tog.* Repeat from *to* around.
Round 5: *K2tog.* Repeat from *to* around.
Round 6: *K2tog.* Repeat from *to* around.
Break yarn and weave through five remaining sts with a yarn needle. Fasten off and weave in all ends.
Bow knitting pattern:
Using Color B, cast on 4 stitches.
Row 1: Slip 1, purl 3.
Row 2: Slip 1, knit 3.
Repeat these two rows until hat measures 2" from cast on edge.
Make a second piece measuring 1".
Wrap smaller piece around larger piece and secure. Stitch bow to hat at a slight angle.
