After casting on and starting to knit last week I have made quite a bit of progress on my 30 day sweater. I'm knitting a wide set of raglan increases. There are six stitches in between each increase to create a really deliberate design detail at the raglan sleeve/body divisions.
I've spent a lot of time with my Red Poppy Wooly Worsted yarn in the last few days. I knit over coffee with friends. Then the next day I knitted at a local brewery with friends!
I was also on the Sweater Knitting Show on last week. You can watch the show where I hangout with Johnny and Lacie and talk about knitting sweaters for children. We talk about what yarns are great for kids knits and I show off the amazing progress of Jen Geigley's "innovative" baseball-style raglan sweater design made with Wooly Worsted yarn. There's also a section where I show off my own 30 day sweater progress live on camera. Come hang out in my studio! Watch me make weird faces!
