What's up knitters? How are your wraps coming along?
This week we will complete the first section of both wings. As you incorporate all 4 colors into the work, you may find yourself juggling yarn balls. Juggling is great if you're a carnival performer, but not if you're just trying to get some nice, relaxing knitting done! As I showed you last week, a simple clothespin can help keep things neat by holding the "resting" pair of yarn balls onto one side of the circular needle.
This leaves us free to concentrate on just the working pair of yarnballs. Make sure that after each 2 rows, when both strands are on the same side, you twist them around each other to keep the edge neat and each color ready to go. It's not super critical how you twist them as long as you are consistent. I like to bring the current color up towards me from under the other strand, like so:
Now we're ready to keep on striping!
If you keep doing this each time you'll get a nice-looking edge.
