You've heard of a knit-along but have you heard of a mystery knit-along? Ohhh, mysterious!
The way I usually host a knit-along (or KAL) is to announce the pattern and then work with you right through the sweater or hat or cowl. We all go at about the same pace and I give tips along the way, answer questions and we chat about how great our projects look. Fun!
But here's a twist! Meaghan at the Unapologetic Knitter is hosting a mystery knit-along or MKAL for short. All you know to at the beginning is that the project will be a hat! The pattern and all the steps to make the hat are REVEALED each week. How crazy is that?
Meaghan's newest MKAL is also worked in the very popular technique called brioche knitting. Have you tried brioche? It's popping up all over the knitting universe, like in these two amazing designs Meaghan did for us here at Ewe Ewe.
See how awesome that brioche looks? And how incredible her designs are? I can't wait to work through a mystery hat project with her. The hat will probably be amazing and have some funky and unexpected design feature. I'm in!
The MKAL specifically features our Wooly Worsted yarn for the hat because of its great stitch definition and color selection. You'll need three balls, a main color, a bright color and a neutral color.
