Socks on Saturday: Twinkling Trees

Each Socks on Saturday will highlight a sock pattern that you can use to knit yourself a pair of socks with Ewe Ewe Fluffy Fingering yarn.

I’ve been having so much fun finding festive sock patterns for each Socks on Saturday post this month! Today is no exception. Meet Twinkling Trees!

Oh, how pretty are these! Slightly festive, impressively beautiful in their simplicity, and I think they’ll be just perfect in Fluffy Fingering merino. Twinkling Trees is designed by Danielle Jorge and in her notes she talks about a sweet young couple decorating their first tree with the few ornaments they had collected together and then topping it with a shining star. Lovely!

Twinkling Trees would knit up nicely in Fluffy Fingering yarn with Sky Blue as the main color and a soft Vanilla for the twinkle. Or what about Forest Fern with a Saffron highlight. Or maybe Wheat with Citrus Pop stars? Maybe try Charcoal with Brushed Silver sparkles. So many ideas!
