Welcome to our new blog feature, Socks on Saturday! Since Ewe Ewe Yarns now has Fluffy Fingering in the merino yarn lineup we can make all the wonderful socks you can imagine. Yay!
Each Socks on Saturday will highlight a sock pattern that you can use to knit yourself a pair of socks with Fluffy Fingering yarn. Today we’re starting with our latest collaboration with Meaghan Schmaltz of The Unapologetic Knitter.
Meet Stripe It to Me:
These adorable Stripe It to Me socks are knit from the cuff down. They highlight the contrast between a neutral (shown in Wheat) and a pop of color (shown in our new Iris Blossom!). The color work is simple since it’s all worked with stripes and slipped stitches, no pesky stranded knitting in these!
Try Fluffy Fingering in Iris Blossom with a hint of Brushed Silver. Or what about Citrus Pop with amazing Berry stripes?! Both combinations are great in my opinion. Take a look at the color palette below to choose your favorite colors. You’ll need 2 balls of the main color and 1 of the contrast color.

Remember to grab 2 skeins of your main color that shows in the cuff, heel and toes, and 1 skein of the contrasting stripe color. Enjoy your new socks!
