Each Socks on Saturday highlights a sock pattern that you can use to knit yourself a pair of socks with Ewe Ewe Fluffy Fingering yarn.
I’ve had cables on the brain this week so this beautiful pair of socks leapt right off the page at me! Galiano Socks are designed with a gorgeous stag-horn cable down the middle of the sock to really make them memorable.
Tracie Millar designed these socks while on vacation because while their a cable pattern she says there are “a lot of cruise rows” in between the cables so you can really kick back and enjoy just knitting. While the pattern may look complicated but there’s a lot of just knits and purls on each pattern repeat.
The Galiano Socks would look fabulous in ANY color. The original looks like a nice Brushed Silver but this other Forest Fern pair has me thinking I could knit some for my husband! What do you think?
