From the top! Seamless top-down sweaters are awesome.

Knitting a sweater might seem daunting but I have a little trick here that makes it much faster. No seams! Top-down sweaters are started at the neckline and are knit in one piece. That means when you bind off your final stitches you're done, no seaming to master!

Check out these cute top-down sweaters knit in Wooly Worsted yarn.

The Zoey Cardigan is a perfect first sweater. There's cute stripes and a fun color accent at the cuffs. Plus, it's open front and that means no buttonholes! You'll want to wear it every day!

Up next is the Pop Your Color Cardigan. This one is a true favorite of mine. This cardigan hits at the top of the hip and has a sweet eyelet detail at the raglan sleeve shaping. This sweater also features a pop of color (see the name!?) at the cuffs and neckline. The sample here is shown in Wooly Worsted merino yarn colors of Charcoal for the body and Pistachio as the pop!

And even though I mentioned it yesterday, I can't not talk about the Pilsner Pullover! This sweater has a wide neckline that gently rolls like the bottom of the sweater. It is worked in once piece and then the pocket is a quick job right at the end. Fun to knit!

Zoey Cardigan KAL

Remember our awesome new cardigan pattern? The Zoey Cardigan is an easy-to-wear open front sweater with a v-neck, cute stripes and contrasting color cuffs.

Sweater designer, Meaghan Schmaltz is running a kit and knit-along on her website, The Unapologetic Knitter and it starts soon! The kits feature amazing color combinations of our Wooly Worsted yarn and are available in whatever size you need.

What will you learn? Here's a little blurb from Meaghan about what you'll gain from being a part of this knit-along.

My KALs are all about learning - figuring out the steps that make up a particular project. You'll learn tips and tricks on fit, techniques, and meet other knitters who are in the same boat as you. This may be your first sweater, or your fifteenth, but I can just about guarantee you'll learn something you didn't know (even if it's just how not to do something).

I think you should RUN not walk over to this KAL! More info here and kits here.
