Pattern Focus: A pretty poncho

One day soon it will be warmer again, I promise! In the meantime, I think it's time to start knitting our casual Contessa Cover-Up. This poncho buttons on the sides to hold the edges in and keep it tame. The knitting pattern is worked from the back, up over the neck and back down the front. It's a simple knit and purl stitch and it looks great on everyone!

Give the Contessa Cover-Up a try in our soft and bouncy Wooly Worsted yarn. You'll be happy you have it when you just need a quick wrap to head to the store instead of three jackets and seven scarves!

We're just getting home and unpacking from a great trip to TNNA, the yarn industry's wholesale trade show. It's fun to see all of our friends and meet new ones during the long weekend. I have lots of pictures and Ewe Ewe will be coming to lots of new stores across the country so stay tuned!

Contessa Cover-Up {new knitting pattern}

Check out our new sweater, poncho, pullover, awesome and comfortable cover-up! The Contessa Cover-Up is perfect for fall. You can wear it with long sleeves on a chilly day or throw it over a tank top if it's not too cold yet. It really dresses up any outfit! The Contessa Cover-Up is knit in the seed stitch so it has a really pretty texture. Wooly Worsted has a great twist so the yarn really shows off the knitted stitches beautifully. There's three large buttons on each side of the pullover to keep everything in place. And, there's no seams! The Contessa Cover-Up is easy to knit and awesome to wear!
