8 Sweater Patterns to Knit using Wooly Worsted Yarn from Ewe Ewe

While we have a lot of knitting patterns here at Ewe Ewe Yarns we can't have every idea under the sun. Ewe Ewe Wooly Worsted yarn is a great worsted-weight merino yarn that can work for a variety of really popular knitting patterns.

Changing yarns, or substituting the yarn is easy when you know what you need. Luckily most sweater pattern descriptions on Ravelry tell you how much yardage it takes to complete a project. Ewe Ewe Wooly Worsted yarn has 95 yards per ball so if a sweater takes 915 yards to complete then you would buy 10 balls of yarn. (915 yards needed ÷ 95 yards on a ball = 9.63 or 10 balls of yarn).

Two ball Ewe So Sporty knitting and crochet projects

I love to have a little project on my needles at all times. I enjoy making sweaters and larger garments but a quick project that I'll finish faster is a must for me! Here's some of my favorite two-ball patterns using Ewe So Sporty yarn.

Rush is a lace and solid stripe cowl that's light enough for warmer months and pretty enough to add a little pop of color on a gray day. The sample here is shown in Teal and Aquamarine Ewe So Sporty yarn. There's tons of other tone-on-tone options, too. Try Sapphire and Sky Blue!

Do you like to crochet? The Bohemian Grove cowl pattern is quick to whip up and the fringe is just to die for! It uses just two balls of Ewe So Sporty yarn.

Give one a try!

Color Theory: Berry

It doesn't matter what the season, I always need a little pop of pink. Our Wooly Worsted yarn comes in the perfect shade of warm magenta that's reminiscent of summer raspberries. I've pulled together some of my favorite knitting patterns, accessories and maybe even a pair of shoes that are all inspired by our worsted weight Berry merino yarn. Think pink!

I love a good crisp look and our Wooly Worsted yarn in Vanilla has just the right amount of pop while still having a warm undertone. For some inspiration I've put together knitting projects that can be made with our worsted merino yarn and a few other cute things for fall.
