Instagram Roundup

There's a great community of knitters on Instagram. Here's some of my posts and some of theirs!

I'm always shipping orders! Ewe Ewe is a one woman operation and I pack and fill each order. Sometimes my husband helps but it's mostly just me over here. This bunch of yarn is headed to String Theory Yarn Company in Glen Ellyn, IL. I love to see what color combinations shops put together and this Red Poppy, Saffron and Pistachio Wooly Worsted yarn combo made me so happy that I had to share!

One of our newest shops is ...have you any wool? in Berkley, MI. They made these adorable fingerless gloves in Wooly Worsted yarn color Saffron. The pattern is called Poinsettia by Jessica Correa and is available on Ravelry.

And here's cute little Colin in his very own Easy As ABC Sweater! This one was made by Esther, owner of Yarn It & Haberdashery in Columbus, OH, for her own little boy in Sky Blue and Wheat Wooly Worsted yarn. The Easy As ABC Sweater is a simple top-down raglan baby sweater. Take a look at the pattern here and see all the steps to make it on our Knit Alongs page!

Introducing Wooly Worsted Washable!

Wow, I am excited to say that Wooly Worsted Washable is here! There are seven colors to choose from and they can mix and match to create a world of colorful combinations. I'm dreaming up Fair Isle wrist warmers, striped wellie warmers and cozy baby pullovers. Click the Yarns link on the left side to see all the colors. What are you going to make?

Yarn hearts

Now that we have some colorful yarn around Studio Ewe Ewe there's nothing to do but knit! (ha! That would be a dream, there's always a million things to get done.) But of course I'm going to get in as much knitting as I possibly can and I started with the most colorful knitting of all, Fair Isle. I wanted to see how my colors worked together and I'm very pleased with the results! Look at the green and pink, too cute! Brown and orange are classic favorites, I think they're all happy friends making adorable little yarn hearts. Yay, knitting!

omg, omg, omg... YARN!!

Our first samples of yarn is here and we couldn't be happier. This is a sneak peek at our initial yarn, Wooly Worsted Washable. It's 100% merino superwash wool which means it is incredibly soft and really easy to care for. At worsted weight you can knit everything from warm winter hats, sweaters, and cute as a button baby items. Enjoy your Saturday, I'm going to go back to rolling in my yarn! xo, H.
