Wooly Wednesday: Wonder Years Cardigan

This week we have my Mom! Hi, Mom!

Mom knit the Wonder Years Cardigan designed by The Brown Stitch for my little nephew. Mom chose two colors of Wooly Worsted, pistachio for the stripes and accents and indigo for the body. Wooly Worsted is so versitile it can work with most patterns that call for worsted weight yarn. Between the colors she chose and the cute little car buttons, this cardigan has just the right amount of boyish fun. So cute!

Every Wednesday we post a project by another knitter using Wooly Worsted Washable merino superwash yarn. The project might be our pattern, a modified pattern or someone else's knitting pattern! Wooly Wednesday: Timber Hat!

Here's a new fun weekly post, Wooly Wednesday! Every Wednesday I'll post a project knit by someone else using Wooly Worsted. The project might be our pattern, a modified pattern or someone else's knitting pattern.

This week I wanted to show you my friend Jenni's Timber! Hat that she knit for her daughter. Jenni added stripes at the crown and did a beautiful job with her Fair Isle knitting. So cute!

Too fun! You can find more info about the Timber! Hat here. Maybe your daughter would like one, too!

Happy knitting!

A real life Wooly

Shrek was a merino sheep just like our Wooly. He somehow avoided sheering for seven years by hiding in caves on his New Zealand farm making him the fluffiest sheep the world! Merino grow the most luxurious fleece out of any breed and are usually sheered annually. Shrek's 60 pounds of fleece made him adorable and a bit of an icon. I think he must have been the sassiest merino sheep and I'm so happy that Wooly can carry on his legacy.
